I discovered the benefits of pain relief with massage therapy after suffering a spinal injury on a backpacking trip. Massage therapy provided relief from migraines, neck, and back pain. After healing from the spinal injury, I decided to enroll and graduated from the Madison Area Technical College Therapeutic Massage Program.
Symptoms I treat on a regular basis are migraine, tension headaches, low back pain, neck and shoulder pain to name a few.
Modalities I am trained in: Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Trigger Point, Hot Stones and Migraine Massage Therapy.
For fun, I enjoy nature and the outdoors. I love hiking and camping. I am also a fire dancer using contact staff and small batons. I enjoy helping people, for example one of my clients scheduled a same day session where her migraine pain was so bad she was in tears. By the end of the session she was completely pain free, providing much needed pain relief to clients is very fulfilling. I view everyone as unique and individual, including pain and injuries. No two injuries or bodies are exactly the same, therefore they should not be treated as such. My goal and focus is always to help my clients best heal their body and help clients understand the root causes of pain and discomfort they need relief from.
